Excellent debut release from Rhode Island composer, Caroline Park. The slow-burning A-Side churns field recordings and processed speech into a muted cavernous roar with an admirably subtle sense of development. On the flip, the B-side gives way to a set of shorter pieces that bring into relief a more discernibly electronic sound that sits well with the contemporary concerns of labels like Raster-Noton and Sedimental. Clocking in at just under an hour, these four brooding pieces of minimal electro-acoustic music usher in a kind of disquiet perfectly suited to gently disrupt a long evening.

Pro-dubbed and imprinted edition of 100.
